A healthy mind, body and spirit has allowed Jen to experience life so differently. The crazy journey of life is only as challenging as oyur perspective. Have you ever met someone that had a terrible tragedy in their life, but posseses the most exuberant outlook on life?!?! They all have one thing in common…a untarnished perspective that life is not just good, but great.
Jen’s goal in every teaching opportunity is to provide students with an uplifting experience. Perhaps today it is just a smile because she likes to drop old school hip hop jams and dance around like a child (eek) 😉 or give you an extra exuberant hoot of encouragement when you are trying to hold a pose for five more breaths. Or maybe something deeper, something more attached to your every action and reaction that keeps you from this healthy view that life really is THIS GREAT. Sometimes a good sweat, a good intention is all you need to shed the layer of masking we add to cover up something profound from within….patience, kindness, empathy, or maybe acceptance for all the quirkiness that makes you fan-fn-tastic.
Walking out of a class should transform you in some way… get you out of your head so you can focus, relax your tension from life, motivate you to SURRENDER to the simplest task of folding a mountain of laundry stacking up or the grandest opportunity like letting go of self-doubt and really change your life so you can live a happier and healthier life!
