You will move your body through squats, thigh work, seat work, planks, Pilates-focused core work, arm work, orthopedic exercises, and yoga-inspired transitions. Perfect for individuals of any age and ability looking to create long, lean muscles with an emphasis on strength and stability. Barre classes strengthen and lengthen your entire body in a smart and intentional way. We highly recommend these Barre workout classes for those rehabilitating post-injury, and for all pre-and-postnatal mamas.

Barre BURN

Combine the full-body functional fitness and orthopedic exercises of our classic Barre format with arm work, MORE core work, and accessible cardio burst transitions to keep your heart rate pumping at the effective fat-burning range (55% to 70% of maximum heart rate). Ohana’s in-person Barre BURN classes are heated (to about 85 degrees) so that you can access more muscular movement without the danger of rapid hypermobility. Time to burn, baby, burn — we know you’re ready for this challenge.

What happens when you fuse our one-of-a-kind Barre classes with Flexibility, Intensity, Interval, Training? Barre FiiT! This class format utilizes optimal alignment, cardio heart rate spikes, and intentional muscle fatigue (fast-twitch and slow-twitch muscle fibers) to burn calories, melt fat, and rev your metabolism — while having the most fun. Expect to work your body in ways you didn’t know were possible to receive the benefits and strength that ARE possible through this format.

Barre BLAST

Barre BLAST is everything that you love in a traditional Ohana Barre class, condensed into 20-minutes! Barre BLAST gets right to the point with the same smart alignment, functional movement, Pilates-focused core work, orthopedic exercises, and yogic transitions. In only 20 minutes, you’ll get the total body workout that you’re craving on busy days. We know you’re busy! We know it’s tough to set aside time for your own self-care, especially at home when all the details build up around you. Barre BLAST is just enough time to build a sweat and feel accomplished!

A lifetime of habitual repetitive patterning creates stagnancies within the body. Barre FLUID will challenge you to move in new and different ways in order to strengthen, tone, and enrich the fluidity of your energy throughout. Expect 60-minutes of full-body activation that combines functional movements of Barre, toning of Pilates, and cardiovascular endurance of yoga. Shake loose what is stuck in order to create rhythm and harmony.

Barre FLOW

Come check out the latest and greatest Ohana love affair: Barre FLOW. This class is a combination of Barre beats, dance choreography, cardio intervals, and sculpt weight training fully integrated with a dynamic yoga flow. Enjoy the benefits of a butt-kicking Barre class with the flow state of Vinyasa yoga in order to strengthen AND lengthen simultaneously. This class is challenging by nature, but fully accessible for students of all experience levels. Allow this format to be your gateway into a new movement practice where your body + mind will be fully nourished and supported.
