Barre Classes in Denver

Our students find that Ohana’s Barre classes strengthen them in a way they never thought possible. The Barre format emphasizes strength, stability, and suppleness — and can be adapted to any body. All beginners and Barre-experts are invited to try our elite style of this full body workout as a standalone fitness approach or to compliment and uplevel their yoga practice.

Barre

Ohana Barre classes fuse smart alignment (neutral spin, neutral pelvis) with functional movement, pilates-focused core work, orthopedic exercises and yogic transitions. This format is all about the alignment, focus, discipline, and dedication. Barre is perfect for individuals of any age, looking to create long, lean muscles with an emphasis on strength, stability, and suppleness. We highly recommend these barre workout classes for those rehabilitating post-injury, and for all pre/postnatal mamas.

All levels welcome. This format is 50-minutes long. Please bring your yoga mat, and sticky socks.

Barre FiiT

What happens when you fuse our one-of-a-kind Barre classes with Flexibility, Intensity, Interval, Training? Barre Fiit! This class format utilizes smart alignment and cardio heart rate spikes to burn calories, melt fat, and rev your metabolism — while having the most fun. Expect to work your body in ways you didn’t know were possible, so that you may receive the benefits and strength that ARE possible through this format.

All levels welcome. This format is 50-minutes long. Please bring your yoga mat, and sticky socks.

Barre BURN

Combine the functional movement and orthopedic exercises of classic Barre format, with arm work, MORE corework, and accessible cardio burst transitions to keep your heart rate pumping at the effective fat-burning range (55% to 70% of maximum heart rate). These classes are heated (to about 85d degrees) so that you can access more muscular movement without the danger of rapid hyper mobility. Time to burn, baby, burn — we know you’re ready for this challenge.

All levels welcome. This format is 50-minutes long. The studio will be heated to about 85 degrees. Please bring your yoga mat, and stick socks.
