Ice baths have been know to help revitalizes our bodies, boosts circulation, and ignite energy. It can also help increase your metabolism during and a short time after the plunge, release happy hormones to improve mood, and decrease inflammation in your body. A regular plunge will show you the best results (we suggest multiple times a week!)

This is a decision for you and your doctor. However, we suggest waiting until later in the pregnancy to try out the ice bath (2nd half of of your 2nd trimester or during your third trimester.) This researcher has seen an improvement in sleep for pregnant woman as well as as help with any inflammation that’s occurring because of your pregnancy (specifically, swelling in the legs and ankles.)

We recommend releasing into this cold waters for 3-minutes although students who have been doing this longer will find that a slightly longer time of 5-minutes might be needed. Overtime, you'll build up more of a tolerance for these cold temperatures.

The more, the better. We highly suggest at least 1x a week but if you can do it 3+ times a week, you'll more clearly see the results.
